Third Party Lab Tested
Every lot is independently HPLC-tested by Janoshik Analytical, Europe's reference laboratory for peptide purity assessment. The COA shipped with your order is theirs, not ours.
Storage & Handling
Lyophilized peptides should be stored below 16°C, protected from light and moisture, for up to 24 months. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 30 days for protocol consistency.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water using the volumes below. Add solvent slowly along the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently, never shake, until fully dissolved.

signaling peptide.
MOTS-c is one of the first identified mitochondrial-derived peptides - encoded within the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene rather than the nuclear genome. Its function in research models is to signal back to the nucleus and regulate metabolic homeostasis, making it structurally distinct from any classical signaling peptide.
Its citation profile in metabolic-aging and exercise-physiology research is rapidly expanding. For protocols studying mito-nuclear communication or AMPK pathway modulation, this is the canonical reference compound.

MOTS-c is one of the first identified mitochondrially-derived peptides (MDPs). It activates AMPK and modulates downstream metabolic-flexibility endpoints in research models - uniquely encoded inside mitochondrial DNA itself rather than the nuclear genome.
