Storage & Handling
Lyophilized peptides should be stored below 16°C, protected from light and moisture, for up to 24 months. Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 30 days for protocol consistency.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water using the volumes below. Add solvent slowly along the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently, never shake, until fully dissolved.

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The benzyl alcohol allows reconstituted vials to remain stable in 2–8°C storage for the full multi-week window without microbial growth.
This is what every NZM peptide vial reconstitutes into for research protocols. Plain sterile water without benzyl alcohol limits reconstituted shelf life to under 24 hours, which is rarely operationally workable.
